DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

LAB - ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION

ANALOG CIRCUITS LAB
The lab is mainly designed to introduced semiconductors device and analog system design using semiconductor device. With the knowledge of the device students will be able to develop application oriented circuits, construct and test for its performance the major experiments includes designing, construction and testing of electronic circuits like receivers, amplifiers and oscillators.
EMBEDDED SYSTEMS LAB
Embedded Systems lab is mainly used to give the concept of micro-controller, Embedded C programming and assembly language programming and give an idea to the students that how to interface the peripherals like Stepper motor, DAC, ADC, Keyboard, Temperature Sensor, Logic controllers etc., for EandC Students.
DIGITAL ELECTRONICS LAB
The lab is mainly concentrating on introducing designing of digital systems to the students of ECE. The students are introducing to the digital IC’s to construct combinational and sequential digital systems based on the logic gates. The major experiments include the designing of Adders, Subtractor, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers, Encoder, Decoder and Sequential digital systems like Counters and registers.
VLSI DESIGN LAB
The lab's main goal is to teach ECE students integrated circuits fabrication techniques. They learn programming, hardware description, simulation, and implementation using FPGA/CPLD devices. Students use XILINX software for experiments and MEMSPRO/MICROWIND for VLSI design. They design various digital systems like ALUs, multiplexers, flip-flops, and even CPUs, gaining skills for placements in top companies like IBM, Robert Bosch, and Microchips.
DIGITAL COMMUNICATION LAB
The lab focuses on communication systems, covering both analog and digital types. Students learn about filtering processes, analog modulation techniques like AM, FM, PM, and the advantages of digital communication systems. They also explore digital modulation techniques, multiplexing, microwave systems, and antenna systems for a comprehensive understanding of advanced communication techniques.
