Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology started functioning in the year 2002.The Department of Computer Science and Engineering are started functioning in the inaugural year itself. During the yesteryears, 60 students were admitted each year. However, with increase in usage of technology and automation, the intake has been increased to 180 in subsequent years. To effectively incorporate research, the Department also offers Masters Degree apart from Ph.D. Department in Computer Science and Engineering. Research work is carried out in a number of distinct domains including Computer Networks, Image Processing and Data Mining. VTU Curriculum is followed by the students. Our faculty members focus on providing an exciting environment with a special emphasis on excellence in education, research and discovery.
